Leggett, 81, of Converse, passed away on May 24, 1985, at 5:55 p.m., at the Sabine Medical Center in Many. Services were at the Noble Pentecostal Church on May 26, at 3 p.m. Brothers G. W. Hagan, Larry Gandy, and Bobby Moore officiated. Interment was in the Shiloh Cemetery of Noble. She is survived by six sons, Billy Ray Leggett of Mineral Wells, Texas, Virgil G. Leggett of Huffman, Tex., A. J. Leggett of Negreet, Samuel Maurice Leggett of Kenner, La., Joe Earl Leggett of Mineral Wells, and Jimmy D. Leggett of Mineral Wells; also six daughters, Mrs. Rauzie Bearden of Fisher, Mrs. Rosa Mae Batson of Zwolle, Mrs. Ima Jean Leggett of Mineral Wells, Mrs. Katharine Marie Johnson of Converse, Mrs. Virginia Ann Coffey of Converse, and Mrs. Betty Louise McCormic of Many; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Helen Leggett of Converse; three brothers, Frank Webb of Shreveport, Ennis Webb of Bronson, Tex., and P. V. Webb of Shreveport. She also had 50 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Pallbearers were David Leggett, Alex Leggett, Larry Leggett, Relton Leggett, Vance Leggett, and Glyn Leggett. Honorary pallbearers were Buddy Leggett, L. H. Williams, and Tommy Leggett.
