Burton E. Lightfoot

  Burton E. Lightfoot, 66, of Many, died Friday, Aug. 29, at 1
p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Burton E. Lightfoot of Many,
and Wayne Lightfoot of Houston, Tex.; one daughter, Vickie
Cheatwood of Many; four sisters, Opal Williams, and Bernice
McComic, both of Shreveport, Della Jackson of Sioux Falls, S. D.,
and Barbara Evynes of Shreveport; and five grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel,
Sunday, Aug. 31, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Elcie Walker, and the Rev.
Dan Jones officiated. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
