Edna Lester

  Mrs. Edna Lester, 76, of Many, died in Many, Thursday, Jan. 8,
at 11:15 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include eight sons, Creed Lester, Charles Lester, and
Robert Lester, all of Many; C. O. Lester of Shreveport, Lawrence
Lester of Keithville, Daniel Lester of White Oak, Tex., Bradley
Lester of Knoxville, Tenn., and J. C. Lester of Augusta, Ga.; two
daughters, Mrs. Barbara Flury of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Joyce
Bentley of Shreveport; a brother, Bill DeKeyzer of Groves, Tex.;
a sister, Mrs. Inez McCormick of Many; 27 grandchildren, 3 step
grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the St. John Catholic Church on
Saturday, Jan. 10, at 2 p.m. Father Gustave Bergeron officiated.
Burial was in the St. John Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Frank Lester, Dennis Lester, John Bentley,
David Lester, Larry Lester, and Carl Lester.
