Claude H. Lester, Jr.

  Claude H. Lester, Jr., 55, of Many, died Sunday, Sept. 7, at 1
a.m., after a short illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Lynn Lester of Many; two
sons, James, and Wade Lester, both of Many; one daughter, Mrs.
Carolyn Sandel of Florien; his mother, Mrs. Gladys Lester of
Many; two sisters, Mrs. Gloria McCormic of Many, and Mrs. Lurline
Bonds of Stamps, Ark., and one grandchild.

  Services were conducted at the Ft. Jesup Baptist Church, Monday,
Sept. 8, at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Arthur Haymon, Rev. H. H.
Tibbitts, and Rev. James Burns officiating. Interment followed in
the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Creed Lester, Huey Lester, Orland Lester, John
H. Brown, Ernest Constable, and Raymond Wyatt. Honorary
Pallbearers were M. G. Anthony, Mike Anthony, Lester Savell, and
H. O. Coburn.
