Mrs. Gladys L. Lester

  Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys L. Lester, 74, of Many, were
held in the Fort Jesup Baptist Church, Sunday, March 4, at 2 p.m.
Brother Arthur Haymon officiated. Burial was in the Fort Jesup
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Lester died Friday, March 2, 1984, at 12:15 p.m., in
Shreveport, following an extended illness.

  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lurline Bonds, and Mrs.
Gloria McComic, both of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Griffith,
Burkville, Texas, and Mrs. Christine Moss, Many; nine
grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
