Elbert C. Lester

  Funeral services for Elbert C. Lester, age 70, who died June 2,
were conducted at Middle Creek Baptist Church at 2 p.m., June 5,
with Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Interment was in the church
cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were A. C., C. O., Tom Lester Jr., Oscar, and Tom
Canady, and Linda McCormic. Survivors are brothers, Coleman, and
Charlie Lester, both of Many, C. C. Lester of Houma, one sister,
Mrs. L. M. Canady of Florien.
