Mrs. Mable Velma Ligon

  Services for Mrs. Mable Velma Ligon of Bossier City, were held
at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, at the McGuire Funeral Home Chapel
in Vivian, La. The Rev. Steve Rowe, pastor of the Athens Baptist
Church in Athens, La., officiated. Graveside services were held
at 2 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas.

  Mrs. Ligon, a homemaker, died Saturday, June 9, 1984, in Bossier
City, following a long illness. She was a native of Marthaville,
La., and had been a resident of Bossier Coty for the past two
years. She was Presbyterian.

  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Addie R. King of Gray,
Texas; a grandson, Jerry Lynn Alexander; a granddaughter, Becky
Leigh McCannon of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and nine great grandchildren.
