The Rev. Steve Rowe, pastor of the Athens Baptist Church in Athens, La., officiated. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Nacogdoches, Texas. Mrs. Ligon, a homemaker, died Saturday, June 9, 1984, in Bossier City, following a long illness. She was a native of Marthaville, La., and had been a resident of Bossier Coty for the past two years. She was Presbyterian. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Addie R. King of Gray, Texas; a grandson, Jerry Lynn Alexander; a granddaughter, Becky Leigh McCannon of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and nine great grandchildren.
