Lyddy, 91, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 8:30 p.m., at Fraser Hospital South, following a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Sabine Parish. Services were held Friday, Dec. 28, at 10 a.m., at the Ft. Jesup Baptist Church, with the Rev. Earl Marr, Rev. Johnny Rhodes, and Rev. Arthur Haymon officiating. Burial followed in the Fisher Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Ray Francis Lyddy of Leesville, and Tim Lyddy of Many; one daughter, Opal Rougeau, also of Many; seven grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Jimmy Rougeau, Cookie Rougeau, Mike Lyddy, Mackey Lyddy, Dale Lyddy, and Gerald Flenniken.
