Jesup at 10 a.m. Rev. W. G. Bailey officiated, assisted by Rev. Atkins. Interment was in Fisher cemetery. Massingill funeral home in charge. Pallbearers were: J. B. Vandegaer, J. J. Blake, E. A. Scaife, Marshall Hayes, Robert Geoghagen and Reuben Goodman. Surviving are wife, two daughters, Mrs. L. E. Rougeau of Many, Miss Yvone Rains, Fort Worth, Texas; sons, Ray Francis of Hornbeck and Pvt. Tim C. Lyddy, USMC. Uncle Tim, as he was known by his many friends, was an employee of Louisiana Long Leaf Lumber company for 30 years, having retired and lived on his farm near Fort Jesup. He passed away suddenly of heart attack Saturday morning.
