Mrs. Melba Sandra Ladd

  Services for Mrs. Melba Sandra Ladd, 63, were held at 10 a.m.,
Friday, March 3, 1989, in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home in
Winnfield. Officiating was Father Charles Morgan. Burial was in
the Garden of Memories in Winnfield.

  A rosary was said at 7 p.m., on Thursday, March 2, at Southern
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Ladd died at 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, February 28, at the St.
Jude's Hospital in Kenner, La., following a brief illness. She
was employed as a legal secretary with Bodenheimer, Jones, Klotz,
and Simmons in Shreveport.

  She is survived by one son, Dale Ladd of Kenner, La.; three
sisters, Aline Williams of Winnfield, Maurine Foshee of Robeline,
and Sally Steigler of Hartford, Conn.; two grandchildren, Donald
Ladd of Kenner, and Mark Ladd of Fort Worth, Tex.
