The Sabine Index - Carl Lites 
  
  24 Feb 1939 - Funeral services for Carl Lites, age 18 years, who 
was accidently killed by pistol shot last Saturday evening, was 
held at the Mt. Zion Baptist church Monday at 10 o'clock with 
Rev. C. W. Williams, pastor of the First Baptist church of Many, 
officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion cemetery. 
  
  Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Lites; three 
brothers, Earl, Johnny, and Norman; his grandfather, Rev. T. J. 
Lites, and his grandmother, Mrs. Katie Walden of Mt. Zion.
