Zion Baptist Church on Monday, June 22, at 3 p.m. Rev. Efton Marin, and the Rev. C. C. Pierce officiated. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were James Lites, Jimmie Lites, Edwin Ray Lites, Danny Lites, Tracy Lites, and James D. Brumley. Mr. Lites died in Many, at 1:30 a.m., on Sunday, June 21, following an extended illness. He was a patient in the Heritage Manor Nursing home. He was ?92. Survivors include two sons, Leslie W. Lites of Many, and Ralph D. Lites of Pineville; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret K. Brown of Denham Springs; a brother, D. R. Lites of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Winnen Dees of Shreveport, and Mrs. Vera McWherter of Metairie; and seven grandchildren.
