Rev. Herbert S. Laidlaw

  Rev. Herbert S. Laidlaw of Zachary, died Saturday, April 21,
1984, at 10:20 a.m., at Dickson Memorial Hospital. He was 76
years old, and a resident of Harvest Manor Nursing Home.

  Services were held Tuesday, April 24, at the United Pentecostal
Church of Zachary, where he was a member. Burial was in Green
Oaks Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Seale Funeral Home
in Denham Springs.

  Rev. Laidlaw was a native of International Falls, Minn., and a
retired minister of the Gospel.

  He is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Ruth Moore of Pleasant
Hill; two sons, Thomas and Herb Laidlaw of Baton Rouge; and one
sister, Mrs. Mary Burrow, DeRidder.

  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ester R. Laidlaw; his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Laidlaw; and one brother, John
Laidlaw.
