Mr. Floyd Latham

  Mr. Floyd Latham, 84, of Converse died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000 in
Many.

  Mr. Latham was a veteran of WWII and worked in the oil field.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan 8, at Mansfield
Chapel with interment following in Converse. The Rev. Jimmy Price,
pastor of Noble Baptist Church, officiated and the Rev. Adrian
Rairchild, pastor of First Baptist Church of Converse, assisted.

  Survivors include his widow, Ruth Latham of Converse; two daughters,
Gayle Smith of Shreveport and Pauline Saxton of Memphis, Tenn.; one
sister, Maybelle Blevins of Shreveport; one brother, R. D. Latham of
Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren, Scott Saxton, Keith LeGier and
Kevin LeGier; and two great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Jared.

  Pallbearers were Kevin LeGier, Keith LeGier, Scott Saxton, Bob Latham,
Mitch Latham and Ernest Moore.
