The Sabine Index - Mrs. Jennie E. Latham

  30 Jun 1944 - Mrs. Jennie E. Latham, relict of the late J. L.
Latham, passed away after a long illness at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. W. O. Roberts, Shreveport, June 16. Funeral rites
June 17.

  Aunt Jennie, as she was affectionately known by her friends,
was a life-time resident of Sabine parish and a member of Noble
Baptist church for many years.

  Funeral services was in charge of Drewett funeral home,
Mansfield, conducted by Rev. Joe Flanagan of Zwolle at Noble
Baptist church. Pallbearers were friends of the family.

  Surviving are two children, Rubin Latham and Mrs. W. O.
Roberts, two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Nell Roberts; two
sisters, Mrs. J. T. Derrick of Converse and Mrs. Arra Cox of
Mansfield.
