Litton, 61, prominent Pleasant Hill businessman and leader in civic affairs, died at 4 p.m. Monday after a lengthy illness. Mr. Litton was the owner of a number of Pleasant Hill enterprise, including a restaurant, a theatre, and a mercantile store. He once had a baseball park constructed and donated the park to the town. He was a member of the Methodist church and took an active part in civic affairs. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Pleasant Hill at 3 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. B. D. Watson, assisted by Revs. Smith, Watson and Strozier. Interment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery under the direction of Drewett funeral home of Mansfield. Survivors include his widow; one step-daughter, Mrs. R. L. Murray, of Shreveport; two brothers, Steve Litton of Many and Alvin Litton of Carthage, Texas; seven step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
