Funeral services were held at Oak Grove Fellowship Baptist church at 4 p.m. June 9 with Rev. Willis Greer, Rev. Jerry Schmucker, Rev. Latterman and Rev. V. R. Miller officiating. Interment was in the Oak Grove cemetery. Pallbearers were R. V. Fisher, Douglas Fisher, bobby Bennett, Thomas McCullor, James McDonald and Ellis Craig. Mrs. Litton was living at Converse at the time of her death. She was a member of Mitchel Baptist church. She had been living in Sabine and DeSoto parishes for 34 years. Mrs. Litton was a very active member among her friends and relatives. Mrs. Litton was the daughter of the late Charlie Hayes and Edna Hirdwell Hayes of Marthaville. She is survived by her husband, Robert Litton, of Converse; five sons, James and Travis of Mitchell, Harvey of Shreveport, Alton and Bobby of Converse; three daughters, Miss Mildred Litton of Converse, Miss Elois Litton and Mrs. Hen Taylor, both of Mansfield; two brothers, Zollie Hayes of Mitchell and Rawleigh Hayes of Pelican, and nine grandchildren.
