All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - William Blair Latham 13 Jan 1956 - Funeral services for William Blair Latham, who passed away at Anchorage, Alaska, Dec. 29, were held Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Baptist church in Converse, with the pastor, the Rev. Ben Worley, officiating assisted by the Rev. James Lawton, pastor of the First Methodist church. Graveside services were held by Floyd Jordan American Legion Post of Many. Mr. Latham had been employed by the Civil Aeronautics Administration in Anchorage for the past 10 years. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. J. W. Latham of Converse, and four sisters, Mrs. S. L. Asby of Newton, Texas, Mrs. Helen Miles of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. L. G. Edwards of Noble and Mrs. J. T. Cates of Converse. Interment was in the Oak Grove cemetery under the direction of the Drewitt Funeral home of Mansfield.
