Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiated. Burial was in the Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Mrs. Litton was a native of Pleasant Hill, where she was a member of the first Baptist Church, active in the Women's Missionary Union, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Litton died Saturday, June 30, at DeSoto General Hospital, following a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by one brother, R. J. Tyler. Mrs. Litton is survived by her spouse, Mr. David Litton of Pleasant Hill; one son and daughter-in-law, Jackie Litton and Wyville of Shreveport, Mary Rence Litton of Harrison, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Jaclyn Litton; three sisters, Dorothy Kilgore of Shreveport, Mozelle Jamison of Pleasant Hill, Corene Betros of Deer Park, Texas; two brothers, George M. Tyler of Keithville, Dewey Van Tyler of Monroe; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Hugh Fleming, Prenciss Shauffner, Harold Dillard, Guffey Lynn Pattison, Randall Brown, and John Neal.
