Mr. Preston T. Latham

  Services for Mr. Preston Thomas Latham Sr., were held at 1 p.m.,
Sunday, Jan. 30, 1994, in the Southern Chapel in Winnfield, with
Rev. Carl Francis, and Rev. Robert Franks officiating.

  Mr. Latham died at 8:20 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 29, at Winn Parish
Medical Center. Mr. Latham, 76, was buried at Bethsadia Cemetery
near Many, under the direction of Southern.

  He was retired from Olin Kraft, and a member of Greater
Pentecostal Church of Winnfield.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby C. Latham of Winnfield;
one son, Thomas Latham of Joyce; two daughters, Betty Holleman of
Pasadena, Tex., and Jeanne Franks of Winnfield; four brothers,
Floyd Latham of Converse, R. D. Latham of Houston, Truitt Latham
of Deer Park, Tex., and Monroe Latham of Mansfield; one sister,
Maybelle Blevius of Shreveport; six grandchildren; and 11 great
grandchildren.
