Mr. Monroe F. Latham

  Mr. Monroe F. Latham, 85, of Converse, died at Heritage Manor
Nursing Home of Mansfield, June 9, 1995.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 10, at the
First Baptist Church of Converse.

  Officiating were the Rev. Bob Phillips, pastor of First Baptist
Church of Converse.

  Interment followed in Converse Cemetery, under the direction of
Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Mr. Latham was a native, and resident of Converse, and he was
retired.

  Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Maybelle Blevins of
Shreveport; three brothers, R. D. Latham of Houston, Texas,
George Truitt Latham of Deer Park, Texas, and Floyd Latham of
Converse; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

  Pallbearers were Robert Franks, Darrell Franks, Thomas Latham,
Mitch Latham, Bob Latham, and Ernest Moore.
