Litton (Photo) Funeral services for Pauline B. Litton, 78, of Mansfield, will be held Tuesday, Dec. 31, 1996, at 10:30 a.m., at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield. Officiating will be Dr. William Crosby, assisted by Rev. Joe Waggener. Interment will follow at Springridge Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield. Mrs. Litton died Saturday, Dec. 28, at Schumpert Medical Center. She was born in Pleasant Hill, and later became a member of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield. She was also a retired purchasing agent for the DeSoto Parish School Board. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Truly Litton. She is survived by one son, James T. Litton and wife Jill of Shreveport; one daughter, Martha L. Kurkiewics and husband Andre of Benton; sisters, Nevada Sistrunk of Mansfield, and Rita Ponder of Pleasant Hill; one brother, Cecil Brown of Mansfield; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Karen Moore, Drs. Alexander and Craig, and the staff at Schumpert Medical Center, and Riverview Care Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
