Mrs. John W. Latham

  Funeral services for Mrs. John W. Latham, age 92, who passed
away Jan. 15, were conducted at Converse Baptist Church, Jan. 16.

  Rev. Frank B. Walker of Converse officiated, assisted by Rev. W.
T. Hall, Zwolle, Rev. Shelton Simmons, Newton, Tex., and Rev.
Cecil Salley, Pleasant Hill.

  Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of
Drewett Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are four daughters, Mrs. S. L. Asby, Newton,
Tex., Mrs. Helen Miles, Pleasant Hill, Mrs. L. G. Edwards, Noble,
and Mrs. J. T. Cates, Converse; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great
grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ettie Welch, Houston, Tex.,
Mrs. Bertie Welch, Conroe, Tex., and Mrs. Inez Simmons, Richards,
Tex.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
