Mrs. Fannie Luther 
  
  Mrs. Fannie Luther, 90, of Winnfield, died Sunday, Dec. 17, at 
10:30 a.m., at the Winnfield General Hospital, after a sudden 
illness. She had lived in Sabine Parish for a number of years, 
and was a resident of the Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in 
Winnfield. 
  
  Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 18, at the Mt. Zion 
Methodist Church near Montgomery, with the Rev. Eugene Love, and 
the Rev. Charles Hailey officiating. Interment was in the Mt. 
Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of 
Winnfield. 
  
  Pallbearers were Preston Wallace, Virgil Luther, Bill McLaren, 
Aaron McManus, Johnny Stroud, and Donnie Shaw. 
  
  Survivors were three sons, O. C. Luther of Monroe, Charles 
Luther of Winnfield, and Herbert Luther of Shreveport; nine 
grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a number of 
great-great-grandchildren.
