B. Cooper officiating. Interment was in Highland Cemetery in Mansfield. Mr. Lowderback died Tuesday, April 4, 1983, at P and S Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Randolph, La., on November 30, 1903, and had lived in Shreveport the past 60 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Essie Boyd Ford Lowderback of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Smith of Lake Charles, Mrs. Charlsie DePingre, and Mrs. Cecile King of Shreveport; one son, Charles Ford of Converse; two sisters, Mrs. Florice Ramsey of Sherwood, Ark., and Mrs. Mary Kosmitis of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Charlie J. Lowderback of Bloomfield, Conn.; nine grandchildren; four nephews; and two nieces. Pallbearers will be his son, sons-in-law, and grandsons.
