Officiating will be Rev. Jimmy Dan Lilley of Chattanooga, Tenn., assisted by Rev. Billy Pierce, pastor of Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, La. Burial will be in Spring Ridge Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, La. The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, at Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Mr. Lilley died Sunday, July 10, at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Bossier City, La. He was born in Sabine Parish, La., where he had been a lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill. Mr. Lilley was a retired farmer, a deacon at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, and was also a member of the Cattlemen's Dairy Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Greer Lilley; son James Otha Lilley; and daughter, Helen McDonald. Survivors include a daughter, Odie LaJoice Wolden of Houston, Tex., Carolyn and husband Clay Nichols of Houston, Tex., Ruth and husband Vol Dooley of Bossier City, La.; brothers, Jimmy Dan Lilley of Chattanooga, Tenn., Raymond Lilley of Shreveport, William Lilley of Natchitoches, Charles Lilley, Marshall Lilley, Douglas Lilley, Davis Lilley, Joseph Lilley, Eddy Lilley of Mansfield, La.; grandchildren, Wayne Wolden, Rebekah Hawkins, Melissa Nichols of Houston, Tex., Debra Martin, Sue Billberry, Gary Lilley of Ruston, La., Ellis McDonald, Coy McDonald, Stanley McDonald of Florien, La., Autry Brown, Dennis Brown of Bossier City, La., Ricky Brown of Little Rock, Ark.; 19 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Autrey Brown, Ricky Brown, Coy McDonald, Gary Lilley, and Farrell Martin.
