Services were held in the Florien Baptist Church, with the Rev. Billy Fuller officiating. Burial was in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were his grandsons. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. J. Lilley of Florien; two sons, Fred Lilley of Natchitoches, and the Rev. Ernest Lilley of Dallas; eight daughters, Mrs. Harvey Cook of Florien, Mrs. T. J. McCormick, Mrs. C. H. Slater, Mrs. John Bernett, Mrs. Charles Blades, Mrs. V. E. Ricks, and Mrs. Elaine Hisel, all of Houston, and Mrs. Cone J. Waters Jr. of Tyler; one sister, Mrs. W. D. Jordan of Florien; and 27 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren.
