Lewallen, 42, of New Llano, will be held in the Chapel of Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home in Leesville, Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997, at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Father Jim Foster. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home. Mr. Lewallen died Sunday, Jan. 5, at Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria. He was a native of Greer, South Carolina, and had lived in Vernon Parish since 1993. He was employed as a truck driver for Blackman Trucking of DeRidder. Mr. Lewallen is survived by his wife, Bridget Lewallen of New Llano; two sons, John Henry Lewallen, and Jermany Lewallen, both of New Llano; one daughter, Germaine Lewallen of New Llano; two brothers, David Lewallen of Greenville, S. C., and Ricky Lewallen of Greer, S. C.; one sister, Faye Henderson of Greer, S. C.; and his mother, Mildred Lewallen, also of Greer, S. C.
