Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27 at the First United Methodist Church in Zwolle with interment following at Zwolle Cemetery. Ted Freeland officiated. Mr. Leone was born Sept. 16, 1928 in Zwolle to Clyde and Lois Leone. He was in retirement from Byles Welding and Tractor Company in Many where he spent many years in service to others as a welder and foreman. Mr. Leone was a dedicated husband and father. His life was centered around his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. He lived his life in service to others. Survivors include his four children, Billy Wayne Leone Jr. and wife Barbara of Lutz, Fla., Sandy Leone Tyson and husband Randy of Bossier City, Michael Leone and wife Cathy of Bossier City, and Toni Leone of Zwolle; two brothers, Harold Leone of Conroe, Texas and Doug Leone of Laurel, Miss.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Leone was preceded in death by his wife, Dollye Wright Leone; one daughter, Maria Suzanne Leone; two sisters, Patricia Leone Walsh and Doris Leone Adair; parents, Clyde and Lois Leone. Pallbearers were lifelong friends of Mr. Leone. The family would like to express special thanks to Howard Evans, Terry Rivers, and Med Express Ambulance Service.
