Walter Leone

  Walter Leone, 73, of Zwolle, died at the LSU Medical Center in
Shreveport on Thursday, Jan 4, at 5 p.m., following an extended
illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alma Leone of Zwolle; seven
sons, Stanley Leone of Houston, Tex., Wayne Leone of Pasadena,
Tex., Jessie Leone of Florida, and Gene Leone, Henry Walker
Leone, Joe Leone, and Wilford Leone, all of Shreveport; two
daughters, Gertrude Mullin of Utica, New York, and Ruby Ebarb of
Hemphill, Tex.; 24 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel
on Sunday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Fisk Ray officiated. Burial
was in the Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Roy Maxey, Ken Barnes, Tommy Faircloth, Mack
Castee, H. T. Martin, and Jerry Bufkin.
