J. D. Lum

  J. D. Lum, 69, of Converse, died Thursday, April 5, after a
short illness.

  Services were held at ? p.m., Friday, April 6, in Union Springs
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Schmucker, and the Rev.
Shannon O'Glee officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery,
under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Fannie Lum of Converse; three
daughters, Johnnie Rascoe of Converse, Mary Jordan of Shreveport,
and Nell Boyd of Oil City; two brothers, Leslie Lum, and Curtis
Lum, both of Logansport; two sisters, E?e Monk, and Ovada
Springer, both of Logansport; and five grandchildren.
