Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 15, at 3:30 p.m., at the St. Joseph Catholic church in Zwolle. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of the Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, Tex. Mr. Leone, who was a Zwolle native, was a dozer operator for Temple Associates. Survivors include his widow, Gail Leone of Hemphill; one son, John Wesley Leone of Hemphill; his mother, Mrs. Frances Leone of Zwolle; six brothers, Joseph W. Leone of Las Vegas, Nev. Herman Leone of Zwolle, William S. Leone of Henderson, Nev., John P. Leone of Louisville, Miss., Simon H. Leone of Shreveport, and Clyde P. Leone of Hemphill; and six sisters, Clara Sepulvado, Vernia Leone, and Edna Leone, all of Zwolle, Lucille Procell of Hemphill, Mary Bailey of Henderson, Nev., and Wanda Leone of Zwolle. Pallbearers were Kenneth Gilcrease, Raymond Brown, Robert Davis, Roger Dale Leone, Jimmy Turner, and Wayne White.
