Father Thomas E. Barberito, S. J., pastor of St. John Berchmans Co-Cathedral, officiated. Burial with full military honors, was at Forest Park Cemetery. Mr. Linn died at 12:46 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 1985, at Highland Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Homer, La. Mr. Linn was a retired career officer, Major, from the U. S. Army, and a veteran of World War II, and the Korean Conflict. He was a local business man. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Linn in 1978. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Harriet E. Linn of Shreveport; four sons, Stan Linn III, Thomas Linn, Christopher Linn, and Matthew Linn, all of Shreveport; one daughter, Karen Campbell of Lake Of The Pines, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Stanley T. Linn of Shreveport; three brothers, John Linn of Converse, La., William Linn, and Jefferson Linn of Shreveport; five grandchildren, Katherine Linn, Audrey Linn, Nicolle Linn, Jacob Linn, and Preston Campbell. Honorary pallbearers were Lee Turner, Harold Moore, Marlon Day, Mike Roberts, and Mark Matthews.
