The Rev. Harold McSwain, and the Rev. W. O. Durham officiated. Burial was at Union Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mr. Lum died Thursday, April 2, 1987, in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness. He was a farmer, and had lived in Logansport for the past 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby Terrell Lum of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Nancy Jo Lum Vice of Shreveport, and Susie Ezernack of Converse; four grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; one brother, James L. Lum; and two sisters, Effie Mae Monk, and Ovada Langford, all of Logansport.
