  Funeral services for Simon Peter Leone, 82, of Zwolle, were held
Monday, Oct. 28, 1996, at 2 p.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic
Church, with Father David Richter officiating. Interment was at
St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Military graveside services were conducted
by the Sabine Chapter of the D.A.V.

  Mr. Leone passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 1996, at 8:40 a.m., at
the Overton Brooks V. A. Hospital in Shreveport.

  He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Edwin Leone.

  Mr. Leone is survived by his wife, Elvie Leone of Zwolle; four
daughters, Virginia Leone Ebarb of Shreveport, Mary Evelyn
Knotts, also of Shreveport, Helen Louise Paddie of Hemphill,
Tex., and Pauline McGee of Houston, Tex.; three sons, Simon P.
Leone Jr. of Shreveport, Tony Ray Leone of Zwolle, and Daniel
Leone of Shreveport; one sister, Florence Moore of Zwolle; one
brother, John Leone, also of Zwolle; 20 grandchildren; and nine
great grandchildren.
