All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Dollye Mae Wright Leone Mrs. Dollye Mae Wright Leone, 68, died Friday, Sept. 11, after a sudden illness. Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 14, at First Methodist Church in Zwolle, with interment following at Zwolle Cemetery. The Rev. Ted Freeland officiated. Mrs. Leone was born Oct. 22, 1929, in Centerville, Miss. She was a graduate of Southern Miss., in Hattiesburg, and she received her Masters of Education, and 30 plus from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. In 1950, she moved to Zwolle, where she began her 32 year teaching career. She was a life member of the NEA. She was an active member of Zwolle First United Methodist Church, and the United Methodist Women for 48 years. Mrs. Leone was a dedicated wife and mother. Her life was centered around her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and community. She lived her life in service to others. Survivors include her husband, Billy Wayne Leone Sr.; four children, Sandy Tyson of Bossier City, Toni Leone of Zwolle, Billy Wayne Leone Jr. of Tampa, Fla., and Michael Leone of Bossier City; one sister, Allie Ruth Nomec of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Edgar Wright Jr. of Baton Rouge, and Charles Shorten Wright of Brookhaven, Miss.; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Leone was preceded in death by her father and mother, Edgar and Annie Mae Wright; one daughter, Maria Suzanne Leone; and one sister, Mary Bell Burk. Pallbearers were Garrett Walsh Jr., David Leone, Harold Leone Jr., Donald Remedies, Allen Rials, James Napier, Jim House, and James McComic. A special thanks to officer Ron Rivers, and Terry Rivers of the Zwolle Police Dept., Acadian Ambulance Service, and the ER Staff of Sabine Medical Center. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
