Mrs. Eula Mae Lum

  Mrs. Eula Mae Estes Lum, 62, of Mansfield, died Monday, April 3,
in a Mansfield hospital. Although Mrs. Lum lived in Mansfield,
she was born and reared in Many. She taught school in Sabine
Parish for several years.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 5, in the Union
Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Schmucker
officiating. Burial was in the Union Springs Cemetery, under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Elsie Mae Mahaffey of
Mansfield; three sons, Robert Lum of Ashland, James C. Lum of
Houma, and Elmo Estes Lum of Morgan City; one sister, Mrs. Emma
Mitchell of Monroe; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces and
cousins.
