Services were held Monday, Dec. 13, at 9 a.m., in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Robert C. Friend officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Francis Leone of Many; six daughters, Verna Leone, Edna Leone, and Sue Leone of Zwolle, Mrs. Rufus Sepulvado of Zwolle, Mary Leone of Hemphill, and Mrs. Joseph V. Procell of Hemphill; six sons, Herman Leone, Oliver Leone, and Clyde Leone of Zwolle, J. W. Leone, and William Leone of Las Vegas, Nev., A 2C Johnny P. Leone of U.S. Air Force, A 2C Simon Leone of U.S. Air Force; three brothers, Simon P. Leone, and John Leone of Zwolle, and Lawrence Leone of U.S. Army; three sisters, Mrs. Susan Sepulvado of Zwolle, Mrs. Francis Sepulvado of Zwolle, and Mrs. Willie Moore of Zwolle; 21 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charlie Sepulvado, Steve Ebarb, Virgil Sepulvado, Homer Martinez, Tom Sepulvado, and Andrew Martinez.
