The victims were identified as Melton J. Sepulvado, 18, whose address was listed as a post office box at Zwolle; and Thomas Leone, 20, Route 2, Zwolle. Patrolman J. F. Lewis said a witness told him a 1972 hardtop two-door vehicle, apparently driven by Sepulvado, was southbound on Rasberry Lane at a high rate of speed, when the vehicle went out of control and rammed into a ditch at 10:42 p.m. Lewis said the Caddo Parish coroner was not at the scene, so the two victims were taken by ambulance to Confederate Memorial. Lewis said there was no sign of life when he reached the scene. Shreveport firemen were called to assist in removing the victims, who were pinned in the car. Lewis said both apparently were killed instantly. The car was estimated to have been traveling at a speed in excess of 90 miles per hour. Shreveport police said the two deaths hiked the city's traffic fatalities to five for the year. Joint funeral services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. Father Patrick Scully will officiate. Burials will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Melton J.
