Lambeth Funeral services for James Talbert Lambeth, 87, of Bossier City, grandfather of Mrs. Robert Gentry of Many, were held Monday, in the First National Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport. Officiating was the Rev. K. G. Rorie, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Bossier City. Burial followed in the Forest Park Cemetery. Mr. Lambeth died suddenly, Fridy morning. He was born in Keatchie, and had resided in Bossier City for the past 56 years. He was a retired plantation manager, and at one time had been in the pecan grafting business. Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. A. R. Stevens of Shreveport, and Mrs. D. T. Stracener of Houston; four sisters, Magaret Hasslock, and Mrs. Vernon Jamison, both of San Antonio, Mrs. D. P. McAlister of Shreveport, and Mrs. Allen Gulley of Bossier City; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Gentry, A. C. Cain, William Bolen, H. W. Sweeters, D. S. Nurdin, A. H. Young, Bobby Hasslocker, and W. S. McAlister.
