Lambert, 78, of Shreveport, died at 7:45 a.m., Monday, May 28, in Willis-Knighton Hospital, after a sudden illness. The Montrose native had lived in Shreveport since 1944, and was a former resident of Caspiana. Mrs. Lambert was a clerk for Pennywise Laundromat, and a member of Morningside United Methodist Church. The funeral was held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, in Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Marshall Street Chapel, with the Rev. David M. Felder, retired pastor of Morningside United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial followed in Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Lambert's survivors include two daughters, Jo Eddins of Shreveport, and Jeanette Ward of Bethany; a sister, Alice Rains of Marthaville; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Mark Ward, Reid Ward, Steve Eddins, John Barnes, Bob Gross, and Jack Cunningham.
