The Rev. Daniel Lowe, and the Rev. Winston Lowe officiated. Spencer and Tami Faust, and Frances Hopkins provided special music. A graveside service and burial followed at the Friendship Nazarene Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Carnline, George Carnline, Spencer Faust, Robby Lang, Brent Little, and Lloyd Savell Jr. Mr. Lambert was born January 11, 1953, in Many, and died Thursday, December 26, 2002, at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport. He was a member of the Friendship Church of the Nazarene. He was a graduate of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. He later went on to receive a Master's degree in Special Education. He served as a deputy sheriff in Sabine Parish for many years. Mr. Lambert retired from the Sabine Parish School System, where he had been employed for more than 20 years. Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Novis Lambert. Survivors include his father, Oscar Harold Lambert of Many; three sons, Chris Lambert of New Iberia, Bradley Lambert of Lafayette, and Jesse Lambert of Many; sister, Sarah Little of Robeline; brother, Philip Lambert of Many; his wife for 25 years, Sandra Lambert of Many; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. He will always be loved and remembered.
