Mrs. Gladys Evelyn Lewing

  Mrs. Gladys Evelyn Lewing, 78, died Saturday, May 16 in Many.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18 at Lewing Chapel
Church with interment following at Florien Cemetery.

  Survivors included one daughter. Delores Barber and husband, Johnny of
Many; one granddaughter, Lynn Veuleman and husband, Jerry of Many; three
grandsons, Terry Tedder and wife, Pam, Gary Tedder and wife, Stephanie
and Greg Barber and wife, Denise, all of Many; one step-grandson, John
Barber of Many; one step-granddaughter, Julie lsgitt of Anderson, S. C.;
10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, two sisters,
Jewl Clifton of Many and Iva Lea Withers of Fisher; and a host of nieces
and nephews. Mrs. Lewing was preceded in death by her parents, Watson and
Leda Manasco and husband, Lester "Lub" Lewing.

  Pallbearers were Donnie Barber, Jeff Broadway, John Barber, Doug Lewing,
Darryl Brandon, Jerry Veuleman, Sammy Ray Clifton and David Withers.
