The Sabine Index - Mrs. Russia Lewing

  19 Apr 1940 - Last rites for Mrs. Russia Lewing, age 60, were held
at Pine Knot Wednesday at 10 a.m.  Rev. Teekel officiating, interment
in the Pine Knot cemetery.

  Surviving are the children, five sons, Hugh, Wallace, Ted, Johnnie,
Frank Lewing; five sisters, Mrs. Sallie Fox, Mrs. Sussie Crittendon,
Mrs. Mammie Dear, Mrs. Lola Bounds, Mrs. Luttie Leggett; six
grandchildren.

  Mrs. Lewing, or Aunt Russ as she was known to the many who love her,
had been in ill health for some time.
