All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Aud Lewing Mr. Amos Aud Lewing, 73, of Many, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, at 9 p.m., at Many Hospital. after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 28, at the Lewing Chapel Congregational Church, with the Rev. Melvin Smith officiating, and the Rev. Sam Strickland assisting. Burial will be in Shady Groves Cemetery, under the direction of Warren meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Lewing was a lifeling resident of Many, and an old time fiddler, having won contests all over the country. Survivors are six brothers, Floyd Pat, Con, O. G., Hoyt, Cleveland, and Lester Lewing, all of Many; five sisters, Mrs. Maude Bounds, Mrs. Osie Hammons, Mrs. Elzie Adams, Mrs. Valley Tedder, Mrs. Effie Conour; and a number of nieces and nephews.
