Mrs. Joe Lewing 
  
  Funeral services for Mrs. Joe Lewing of Hornbeck, was held at 4 
p.m., Sunday, Feb. 25, in the United Pentecostal Church, with the 
Rev. Carpenter, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove 
Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of 
Leesville. 
  
  Mrs. Lewing died early Friday morning, Feb. 23, at her 
residence. 
  
  Survivors include her husband; five brothers, Johnny Blessing of 
Houston, Tex., Herert Blessing of Canyon Lake, Tex., Elmo 
Blessing of Irving, Tex., Earl Blessing of Dallas, and Burl 
Blessing, also of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. W. Hendley of Longview, 
Tex.
