Lynch Funeral services for Laura Rebecca Lynch, 74, of Leesville, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17, in the Hixson funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Don Risinger, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Noble Cemetery. Miss Lynch, a native of Noble in Sabine Parish, was a teacher and supervisor in the Vernon Parish School System for 35 years, prior to retiring in 1965. Survivors include seven brothers, Louis Quitman Lynch, Mitt Lynch, and Cleve Elliott, all of Long Beach, Calif., Leland Elliott of Noble, Bill Elliott of Lake Charles, Harry Elliott of Dry Creek, and Edward Elliott of DeRidder, a sister, Mrs. Alice Herndon of Gilliam.
