Dallas Con Lewing

  Dallas Con Lewing, 74, of Many, died in Many on Monday, Oct. 10,
at 8:35 a.m., following a short illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Frankie Lewing; three sons,
Douglas Con Lewing, Dallas Leroy Lewing, and William Doyle
Lewing, all of Many; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Witherington of
Huntsville, Ala., Mrs. Margie Cox, and Mrs. Patricia Byles, both
of Many; three brothers, O. G.. Lewing, Hoyt Lewing, and Cleve
Lewing, all of Many; four sisters, Mrs. Maude Bounds, Mrs. Ocie
Hammons, Mrs. Vallie Tedder, and Mrs. Effie Conour, all of Many;
18 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Shady Grove Church of God on
Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. Officiating were the Rev. Lehman
Manasco, and Bro. Donnie Paul Lewing. Burial was in the Shady
Grove Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.
