Isabel K. Lewing

  Mrs. Isabel K. Lewing, 81, of Florien, died in Many Hospital on
Sunday, March 19, at 1 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include one son, Allen Lewing of Florien; three
daughters, Mrs. Marie Tynes of Ruston, Mrs. Sue Bailey of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Lucille Lilley of Florien; and one brother,
Amos Knippers of Many. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren,
and 21 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Florien First Baptist Church
on Tuesday, March 21, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Avon Cavanaugh, and the
Rev. Delman Rogers officiated. Burial was in the Florien
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
