Hoyt G. Lewing

  Hoyt G. Lewing of Many, died Friday, May 21, at Fraser Hospital
North in Many, following a short illness. He was 74.

  Funeral services were held at Lewing Chapel Church, Monday, May
24, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Donnie Paul Lewing officiating.
Interment was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Lewing is survived by his widow, Mrs. Vera Lewing of Many;
two sons, Ruel Lewing of Austin, Tex., and Milton Lewing of
Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Melba Jean Burlison of Austin,
Tex., and Mrs. Gayle Simpson of Bossier City; two brothers, Mr.
O. B. Lewing, and Mr. Cleve Lewing, both of Many; four sisters,
Mrs. Maude Bounds, Mrs. Ocie Hammonds, Mrs. Valley Tedder, and
Mrs. Effie Conners, all of Many; 14 grandchildren; and five great
grandchildren.
